Other Parties Database

Advocate 2002 's Other Parties Database maintains your non-client contacts for use within your cases. Contacts may be entered directly into Advocate 2002's Case Database or imported from Microsoft Outlook. Contact records created directly in Law Partner may also be exported to Microsoft Outlook.

Referral Attorneys

Uncategorized Others

When browsing the Other Parties Contact Database, you may choose to view all of the available records or filter the database to a particular contact type, for instance only Referral Attorneys. This is done by selecting the contact type radio button in the filter records box then requerying the database by pressing the Query command button.

Word Letter Button

When an address field is complete with a mailing address, this button will appear in the record enabling the Advocate 2002 Create Letter Wizard. When pressed, the user may create a letter with fields already completed and open an instance of Microsoft Word.

Outlook E-Mail Button

When an e-mail address is entered in the e-mail field, this button appears in this record making it possible to send the contact an Outlook E-Mail message by pressing the button.

Phone Dialer Button

If a telephone number exists in a phone number field, the phone dialer button is enabled, making it possible to use the automatic dialer to phone the contact.
